Translation jobs are undertaken by professional translators who are well versed with at least two languages.Translation can work at two levels: inter-state or regional language translation and inter-national or foreign language translation. Some forms of parent involvement with the school such as communications with school, volunteering, attending school events and parent--parent connections appeared to have little effect on student achievement, especially in high school. Living in a dorm is a new experience for everyone, but it is also a learning time, in more ways than one. Social skills grow but you also learn some very practical living environment skills.#1 Those small hooks that stick on the wall-The lack of available space in all dorm rooms everywhere is such common experience that there is a whole industry worth of products supplying under the bed, over the door, and sticking to the wall based storage. Those wall sticking plastic or metal hooks seemed perfect for my excessive amount of coats. Being thwacked in the elbow every time I left the room was a perfect enough reason to just hang them up with the rest of the clothes and throw the one being used that day over the back of the armchair.#2 Out of date media-I brought all of my VHS tapes to college with me. I foolishly thought I could stuff them, plus my DVDs, my books and the books that I would soon be buying onto a single 3' shelf. So instead of reducing the amount of stuff in my room, I wound up buying an extra piece of furniture to hold all my movies. It would occur to me about two years later that I could get rid of the DVD covers and put the discs in the case with my CDs and save myself tons of room. But instead of taking the perfect opportunity to get rid of the tapes before moving into a new and tiny home, I wouldn't let go of them until two years ago when they were three technologies past.#3 Landline and subsequent phone-I had a cute little red phone and my roommate was having trouble discovering ways to refill her cell, otherwise I would have never availed myself of the phone line in our dorm. I used it precisely twice, just because it was there. I am entirely certain I never paid the $3.15 phone bill that ensued.#4 The "friends" I made that first week-They were the friendly people I met during that first week, we "bonded" over repetitive recitations of dorm rules from the RA. I don't know their last names. I wouldn't be speaking to them by the end of the year. Not for any acrimonious reason, but because the real friends would be gained slowly, later on, based on similar schedules, shared interests and the kind of real bonding experiences that can't be recreated by ice breakers presided over by a desperate RA.
