At the University ofSouthamptons Centre for Biological Sciences we offer a Master of Biological Sciencesprogramme, which takes four years to complete.On this Master of Biological Sciences course study is divided into four parts,with each part corresponding to one year of full-time study. The programme isdelivered in a semester pattern, each semester having 12 weeks for teaching andlearning and 2-3 weeks for examinations.As a Master of Biomedical Sciences student you will be helped to acquire skillsthrough aspects of the formal teaching programme. In the early years this willmainly be through tutorial and coursework, whilst in years three and four yourproject work will give you ample opportunity to further develop and practisemany of the individual skills.At the University of Southamptons Centre for Biological Sciences we take veryseriously the quality assurance of our learning and teaching structures.
