According to Andreas Schleicher, who is a wise Paris based Think Tank,the numbers of students that used to migrate to abroad for higher studies were negligible(statistically) two decades ago. The fact was cited in the same survey in theEconomist. The growth is now soaring according to the InternationalFinance Corporation (IFC) with 2 million university students-approaching 2% ofthe world's total of around 100 millionstudying outside their home country in 2003 ( the fact was cited in HigherEducation in the same article in Economist). Since the late 1990s the highereducation market is growing by 7 per cent a year. Thus the above facts based on real surveys are enough todemonstrate the essence of globalize higher education and that the students arenow approaching best ways to attain specialized education in their field ofinterest.
