Translation jobs are undertaken by professional translators who are well versed with at least two languages.Translation can work at two levels: inter-state or regional language translation and inter-national or foreign language translation. Some forms of parent involvement with the school such as communications with school, volunteering, attending school events and parent--parent connections appeared to have little effect on student achievement, especially in high school. Do you ever find yourself:Going through the motions of your day on Autopilot as though you were Sleepwalking and missing great portions of your day as if you were not really there? In a position of great influence where your words and actions influence those around you in ways that may determine their success or failure? Listening to a voice in your head commenting, criticizing, arguing, doubting, dramatizing etc? In dangerous, fast-moving , high pressure situations that demand impeccable attention and concentration, and where quick decisions are necessary and numerous factors need to be considered? (Highway, Nursing, Construction, Oil Company?) Stressed out, absent minded, ineffective, forgetful, inattentive, bored, indecisive, distractible, overwhelmed etc? Regretful of your own reactivity because you said or did something unskillful and you know you could have used more thought, understanding, wisdom and compassion? Stressfully and chronically multitasking because there is so much to do and so little time? If you answered Yes to any, many or most of the situations above, there is good news and there is bad news. The bad news: These ways of living or patterns of living, seldom change on there own. This means these patterns are deeply engrained, conditioned and programmed and will probably remain as such until you change or die. Sound bleak? Read on...The good news: Change is very possible. Not only that, I teach one approach to remedying all of the above, anyone can learn it, and the same remedy is also the way to increased contentment, satisfaction, happiness, intimacy, wellbeing, and wisdom. Its called Awakened Attention, and it is the most important skill you will ever learn.Below is an abbreviated List of 11 Benefits of Awakened Attention that is expanded upon in my forthcoming book ~ Waking Up To Life: The Art and Skill of Awakened Attention. Some of the benefits are experienced with practice, and some are almost instantaneous. Some benefits are derived from living with Awakened Attention over a longer period. Is there any skill more important than Awakened Attention?Decreased Mental Activity: When attention is awake, mental activity is at a minimum and at times non-existent. This means there is less anxiety producing fantasy, less regret producing memory, and less stress caused by random negative self-talk and useless commentary produced by the sleeping attention. When attention is asleep, the unkind mind will cause untold suffering. Improved Mental Capacities: When mental activity decreases and/or ceases due to sustained periods of Awakened Attention, there is an increase in clarity, concentration, memory, focus and creativity. This is because the cloud of continuous chatter is lifted. Increased Emotional Stability: When mental activity decreases and/or ceases due to sustained periods of Awakened Attention, emotions settle down and moods stabilize. This is because the body is no longer producing emotions in reaction to unnecessary mental activity (see #1). Increased Contentment: When mental activity decreases and/or ceases due to sustained periods of Awakened Attention, there is an experience of ok-ness or satisfaction in very simple activities. This is because what we call a problem is often produced by mental activity. No mental activity = no problem. Improved Communications: When mental activity decreases and/or ceases due to sustained periods of Awakened Attention, we are not so likely to react from hurt, fear or anger. Awakened Attention means the capacity to hear clearly because our inner chatter is diminished. Improved Health: Decreased stress, improved sleep, and an ability to relax are instant benefits of Awakened Attention. This is because the body is no longer bombarded with false alarms causing Fight or Flight signals and the accompanying bodily responses (heart disease, high blood pressure, immune system disorders, migraine headaches, insomnia) Increased Safety: Activities such as driving, working, eating and walking are done with vastly improved conscientiousness and skill, with the result being considerably increased safety. If your attention is not on what you are doing, you are on auto-pilot. Do you drive a car on auto-pilot? How safe is that? More of your Life is lived: When you become firmly established in Awakened Attention you are no longer at risk for what I call Rip Van Winklism which means you wont wake up at the end of your Life and wonder where it went. Awakened Attention means being present and alert while in the midst of your Life, rather than lost in distorted thoughts about your Life. Access to your Deeper Wisdom: When you are less reactive due to sustained periods of Awakened Attention, you will have access to your deeper wisdom that is impossible to access when living in the mind and functioning from thought. This is because your deep wisdom does not come from surface thought, but rather emerges from the silence and stillness that accompany Awakened Attention. A More Accurate Identity: With Awakened Attention you will start to see who and what you truly are beyond the mind. This means you will start to embody such qualities as mystery, humor, presence, acceptance and wisdom. Your true colors will be magnified by the light of Awakened Attention. Decreased Habitual Activity: If you are trying to overcome a habit, compulsion or addiction, you have no better tool and friend than Awakened Attention. This is because Awakened Attention is the foundation for detachment, and detachment is another name for freedom.
