I was surprised when he told me that people have posted negative reviews against Pepperfry and that it is a scam. Then I decided to search for the reviews of other top online shopping portals and almost all the online portals had negative reviews and complaints against them. This showed that it was basically the cut-throat competition in the online e-commerce space that the companies are deliberately creating negative reviews about each other and trying to spoil the market for the leading websites.I just cannot digest the stories about Pepperfry scam. I have ordered apparels and accessories from Pepperfry and I have no complaint against the portal. If you log on to the portal you will note that it has a wide range of brands and products in all categories. The delivery of my shipment has always been made on time and I am quite satisfied with the service. Once I had ordered a kurta for myself, I found that the kurta had a button missing. I immediately spoke and mailed the Pepperfry team. I was expecting that it would not be replaced. I was delighted when they told me that they were sending a replacement and within 4 days I got a new kurta without spending a single penny.According to me Pepperfry has the best customer service available; calling it a Scam would be a big fat lie. It is the companies that are insecure about their own portals who invest their time in writing negative reviews instead making their own portals work. Problem with such reviews is that nobody would know the source of it or tell whether it is authentic or fake. When genuine users look for the reviews they land up reading negative reviews and drop the idea of purchasing online.The problem is that in our country the e-commerce is still growing at a slow but steady pace. Therefore while the e-commerce portals have increased significantly the numbers of users who are ready to shell out money has not. This is creating problems for the companies who are not able to sustain the business. In desperation they resort to cheap gimmicks like writing negative reviews and damaging the competitors business.I think people like us who make online purchases should share the honest reviews and counter fake reviews. At the same time if we are not satisfied with a service we should voice our opinion. This will help us keep our money safe and save our time as we get accustomed to buying things online. It is important that when we make online purchases that we search well that the company has been in operation for how much time. It is not possible that a company like Pepperfry would have survived for over a year if it was cheating while basically proves the facility of Pepperfry Scam stories. It has infact won several awards and has increased its market base. Anybody who is trying to spoil the image of the company is insecure and an idiot.I would suggest you buy from Pepperfry and decide for yourself instead believing in such reviews.
