If you are decided to generate a serious money as an internet marketerwriting and promoting products online, then you will want to read theinformation in this article very carefully. You will learn how you canvisualize your product with a brand new set of eyes and increase yoursales doing so. The brand new set of eyes can be: Eyes of animpersonal, distant observer, your own eyes and the eyes of the readerthemselves. Let me explain what I mean. Most new internetmarketers fall into the trap of writing product descriptions in thirdperson, with the eyes of a distant, uninvolved observer. While this setof eyes is quite adequate for factual product feature descriptions, andadding details to them, it will not generate as many sales and produceas much revenue as the other sets of eyes you could take on in yourproduct descriptions. That is not to say that you could not start yourdescription in third person, but I advise you not to stay there for theentire page. The second set of eyes is the one of your own eyes. When first seeing the product, what impression did you make of it? Whatexcited you about the product? What emotions went through you as youfirst put your hands on it? You may want to write about the productfrom your personal perspective. You could focus on a single detail ofone feature that really impressed you and describe your reaction. Ifyou are doing that with excitement, the believability of yourdescription grows tremendously on the reader's subconscious level.Furthermore, it is quite likely the reader will be able to put himselfinto the picture as not someone just observing the product from adistance, but will be able to imagine himself interacting with theproduct as well. You can further enhance this type of theidentification with the product and its uses by writing with yetanother set of eyes, the eyes of your reader or visitor. Instead ofaddressing the reader with "you" or "your" as if you are just talkingto them, use the second person description in your writing. Here the"you" and "your" will pertain to the reader actually interacting withthe product and receiving the benefits from it. Example: "imagineyourself waking up in the morning to a ray of light whose brightness isslowly and tenderly increasing, and not coming from the morning sun,but coming from your brand new sunrise light alarm clock." When thereader does that, imagines themselves slowly and gently waking up to anatural light, they are already receiving the benefit not unlike thebenefit of the actual alarm clock that is already in their possession. There. These are the three sets of eyes you can employ when writing yourproduct descriptions. I normally start with the third person, then Iadd my personal experiences written in first person, and I end thedescriptions with the second person, transferring the action to thereader. You can do the same. So now that you know all three sets ofeyes, go ahead and inspect your present product pages. What set of eyesdo they use? Could you add more sets of eyes? If you could, why not?Including more sets of eyes would make your writing more attractive forthe reader and easier to write for you. Article Tags: Product Descriptions, Third Person
