But when we talk about the handsets, undoubtedly, Nokia is the King of mobile phone market and LG stood at the third position. In this article we are concentrating on Nokia E5 from the house of Nokia and LG GM360 Viewty Snap by LG Mobile Com The Nokia Mobile Company is the undisputed leader in mobile world, they have latest technology and capability to deliver world class handsets at no extra costs. The N series, E series and C series phones have already rocked the world with th
The Nokia E5 measures 115x58.9x12.8mm and weighs in at just 126 grams. Some may compare the styling to that of a Blackberry, with its QWERTY keyboard and angular lines. The TFT screen measures 2.4 inches and can display up to 256,000 colours within a pixel setup of 320x240 resulting in excellent quality display of the on screen content. As mentioned, there is no touch screen navigation with the Nokia E5, just a functional QWERTY keyboard. MP3 music files can be assigned as ringtones, and vibration works alongside this feature in order to alert to incoming calls and messages. This allows users to customise the phone so they can hear the song of their choice whenever the phone rings. In order to talk hands free, the Nokia E5 has a built in speakerphone system and a 3.5mm audio jack which can accommodate hands free headsets as well as earphones for listening to music. The E5 has an internal phonebook which can store a seemingly unlimited number of contacts. It has the photocall feature as well which allows a photo to be assigned to each person in the phonebook. This is then displayed every time that person calls or sends a message. Internal memory is 250 MB for storage of data such as music tracks or video files. A micro SD slot is also provided for this purpose, with a pre-installed 2 GB memory card. This can be replaced though with a card of up to 32 GB for plenty of storage for all manner of files. Class 32 versions of both GPRS & EDGE provide the E5 with its initial connections to cellular networks in areas with little to no 3G coverage. In areas where 3G coverage is available, a HSDPA connection provides access to the internet at speeds of up to 10.2 Mega bytes per second (this works alongside HSUPA at 2 Mbps). Wi-Fi is also provided, allowing a faster connection to be maintained, and therefore an enhanced web browsing experience. Bluetooth and USB connections provide options for connecting to other devices such as compatible phones and computers. This allows various tasks to be carried out from transferring media files to backing up contact information from the phonebook. A 5 mega pixel digital camera is included, which operates at 2592x1944 pixels. Therefore, any budding photographers are well catered for as this takes very good quality snapshots. Fixed focus and LED flash simplify the task of taking great pictures. The camera also features the ability to shoot video. This is in VGA quality at a frame rate of 15 per second. Nokias new releases rarely fail to impress, and the E5 is no exception. An ideal handset for those who value efficiency over aesthetics, it can give many established Smartphone brands a run for their money in the specification stakes at least.
