But when we talk about the handsets, undoubtedly, Nokia is the King of mobile phone market and LG stood at the third position. In this article we are concentrating on Nokia E5 from the house of Nokia and LG GM360 Viewty Snap by LG Mobile Com The Nokia Mobile Company is the undisputed leader in mobile world, they have latest technology and capability to deliver world class handsets at no extra costs. The N series, E series and C series phones have already rocked the world with th
Lately mobile phone manufacturer LG have been fairly cutting edge in terms of the technology they have been offering on their handsets. We saw the Black Optimus launched as the worlds thinnest mobile, and now we have the Optimus 3D, which gives you a pretty big clue in its name as to what this handset will offer. This handset is the worlds first 3D phone, however in order for this to prove more than just a gimmick, LG needed to ensure that not only the phone was capable of displaying a 3D image, but also their was the material at hand recorded in the format, as without it the whole 3D element would be pretty useless. Thus on the rear side of the phone you will see dual camera lenses, essential for capturing 3D video. Spaced 24mm apart, each lens captures the image for one eye which gives the 3D perspective, and does so in a high resolution of 1280 x 720 per image. When it comes to cinema or television, you would then need glasses to trick the brain into thinking these two images were one, but that would not be practical on a mobile, thus a parallax barrier screen is used here to give three dimensional viewing without glasses. This works well on the phone, with the 4.3" display being the perfect size to show this off. The phone can also capture 2D footage if required and this is snapped at 1080P full high definition resolution. The screen on the phone offers a similar resolution to the Samsung Galaxy S at 480 x 800, with a huge 16 million colours also on offer. Thanks to a partnership announced between LG and Youtube 3D, you will find that when you press the menu button on the side of the LG Optimus 3D that the video channel is one of the options available on screen, giving you the opportunity to view and share your 3D footage. Ignoring the 3D elements for a second, which is difficult, as a standard smartphone, the Optimus 3D performs admirably. The handset is super fast thanks to a high quality processor that is on board. At 1Ghz it is in line with many of the new processors available, and being dual core it means that the phone is perfect for handling multi tasking. Size wise the handset is certainly not tiny, yet it does not feel oversized, sitting comfortably in the palm of your hand, and the weight of 168 grammes making it feel a touch on the heavy side but ultimately well constructed. The LG Optimus 3D brings a new element to mobile technology which is always welcomed, especially when it is one so current and viable, but asides from this, the phone is still a great proposition for anybody wanting a high end smartphone. The LG Optimus 3D and the HTC Desire S are coming soon.
