Tevo haslaunched a new racking system for service vehicles seen for the first time atthe recent CV Operator Show. The new, integrated T-track framework givesdealers and operators a simple to install racking system. The new T-Trackframework is made from high tensile strength steel for maximum strength andsafety but with minimal weight. In some configurations, when compared totraditional steel racking, up to 30% weight reduction can be achieved. Many ofthe modules, including drawer units and lockers, are square in section and canbe rotated through 360 degrees, allowing flexibility in configuration to suitrequirements. Because the racking system modules are modular in height, widthand depth they are suited for many different applications offering a uniquevariety of configurations. You can rearrange drawers or swap them for differentsizes and types before it is installed or when it is in the vehicle. The newsystem was tested at Volvo Cars Safety Centre and has been fully approved toEuropean TÜV standards. Trukrax havebeen busy developing their high roof Toploader system. Sales Manager ScottFinding stated; In response to health and safety concerns we started sellingthe standard side-loading systems several years ago; however we were constantlyasked by our customers for a system for high roof vans that did not put theuser in the road at the back of the van with their back to traffic, due to thiswe developed the Toploader system. The designand development work was completed early last year, but the launch was held offuntil the recent CV Operator show. The Toploader system has been designed toenable users to be able to load and unload two sets of ladders off the roof ofa high roof van whilst stood on the pavement at the side. The system uses acombination of gas springs and dampers to assist the loading or unloading, defeating the age old problem how to safely load or unload ladders withoutclimbing on to the roof or standing in the road at the rear of the vehicle.Trukrax also used this years CV show to launch their range of equipmentavailable for the brand new Mercedes Vito including their side-loadingsystem. These racking systems work in any van, such as MercedesVito vans, Fiat Doblo vans and also many other differentvans which can be found in your local van dealer garage.
