Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 Scientificstudies have proved the unique relationship between one of the biggest sea birds Albatross and the giant Orca or otherwise called as killer whale in the sea. Albatrossis one of the biggest flying birds with longest wing span. And the bird is also recorded to live forabout 60 years. Interestingly, they are alwaysseen either flying or soaring in the sky above sea or in the sea waters. The bird visits land, especially the seashoreonly during its breeding season. Oncethe young hatches out and grown big leaves the breeding ground until they fullymature and ready for reproduction. Findingsof the scientific studies are that these birds follow the killer whales in thedeep sea to eat the leftovers of the hunt of the killer whale. This has been photographed through the collarmicro camera attached in the neck of the bird. Theinteresting point is that why the giant albatross have preferred to settle withthe leftovers of an Orca? They areindeed strong birds with strong bill. They do hunt also. Catchingthe fishes from the deep see for an aerial bird is not easy. That is why most of the fish eating birdshover near beaches as water in the seashore is shallow. In shallow waters, sighting the fishes orother marine animals is relatively easy. Perhaps the giant albatross would not wants tocompete with the birds in the seashore hence would have decided to developfriendship with orca. Albatross beingvery big, association with another giant Orca only is right thing from the angleof its prestige or ego. Competing withother birds in the shore might affect their self esteem. Thesuccess of albatross therefore depends exclusively on the success of Orca. Only when Orca becomes successful in its huntand only when the hunt is big enough and sufficient leftovers are there, thealbatross can have their meal. Albatross, in fact does nothing for Orca either in detecting the hunt orhunting it. They also do not compete orsnatch the food of the Orca. Simplysettles with the leftovers. Thecorporate world has many such albatrosses hovering around the top leaders anddoes or contributes nothing for the success of the corporate. They in fact also do not compete with thepeople in the corporate. Orcadoes not ask or bother about why the albatross needs them or follow them. But the corporate must ask what the corporatealbatrosses do for the organization. Mostly the corporate leaders should ask this question. Having several albatrosses in the corporate willnever add any value in achieving the end objective of the organization. Thecorporate albatross also must ask that by not proving their real worth, theyare only ending up with the leftovers and nothing else. It may appear from a distance that they arein close relation with the top leaders like how an albatross with giantOrca. Whenthe corporate albatross have big wings to fly and strong bill to hunt, whyshould they shy to fight and compete their way to success?
