As we all know to live in this world we have to perform some activity by which we can earn money. There are many activities by which we can earn money and meet the standards to live in this society. And from one of them is franchise. Franc Small offices have unique needs, and thatincludes document shredding. Designed with the smaller business inmind, the Dahle 20314 is a cross-cut shredder that offers Level 3security and brings you into compliance with federal regulations. The
Leachingis the process of extracting metal from the ore for refinement. Leaching isalso referred to as the metallurgical process. It is also simply calledmetallurgy. Theleaching process of extracting metal from the ore will depend on both the oresnature and the metal. There are no universal techniques used for extractingmetal. Mining OreGenerally, ores are found deep within the earth. There are a few that occur within the firstfew meters under thesurface. Mining is the term that is used to describethe process of removing the ores from the earth. Ores that arenear thesurface of the earth can be dug out directly. This process is referred to asopen pit mining. Deep miningis defined as removing ores that arelocated at greater depths. Crushing OreTypicallythe ore that is extracted will be in a large lump, which makes it necessary to breakit into smallerpieces. This is done by hammering or using some type ofjaw crusher. After the ore is broken into smallerpieces it is thenpulverized until it reaches a powdered state. Types of Processes to Remove ImpuritiesThereare several different processes that can be used to separate the undesiredparts of the ore. Leaching is justone of the many processes. Some ofthe other types of process include: ·Hand Picking: this is used for removing large impurities, but is extremely slow·Gravity Method: this method is commonly used for oxide ores and uses a running streamof water to wash away the impurities. ·Magnetic Separation: This type of separation is typically used with hematiteore. It is done by dropping the powdered ore onto a conveyer belt that has amagnetic roller. The ore will stick to the magnet and the impurities will fallaway.·Froth Floatation: the ore is mixed with water and pine oil. The mixture isshaken and the froth will carry the particles to the surface. Leaching Process Theleaching process is used with many different types of ore. Leaching useschemicals to treat the ore. Thechemicals react with the ore anddissolve the active component. There are several reagents that are used forthisprocess, depending on the type of ore. Typically, oxide or sulfideis used as feed for the leaching process. Forexample, to recover some precious metals such as silver, the leaching processis used. Using a cyanideprocess, the silver can be extracted from itsore. The powdered form of the ore is treated with a solution ofsodiumcyanide. An air current is sent through the solution. The silver in the orewill be dissolved because ofthe formation of soluble sodium. This solutionis then treated with a zinc scrap that is used to recover the silverfromthe solution. Goldore is extracted using a leaching process as well. The solution KCN is used todissolve the ore and then thegold is recovered from the solution using electrolyticor precipitation methods.
