I was shaking in my boots thinking that the phone wasgoing to start ringing off the hook and clients would be flooding in. I didn'tsleep the night before my launch, and I was pacing the floor waiting for it togo LIVE! Well, it launched. I waited, and nothing happened. I learnedvery quickly that I had to market my business to make sales.Whether you'vebeen in business for a while or you are a brand new business owner, you must do some work before you launch yourwebsite to make it works to your advantage. And what I mean by "do somework" is as your site is being built get your social media sites ready,too! Because if you launch your new website and have no one to market itto, you wont have the opportunity to build your list, showcase your businessand get some eyeballs on your new site.So if youalready have a social media presence, start building up your followingquickly.
