You can set it to shred your documents automatically when youinsert them into the throat. If you shred continuously for longer than this the motor willoverheat and the shredder will turn itself off. If this happens, theSC-60 requires a cool down period of approximately 30 minutes before itcan be used again.The SC-60 is a strip cut shredder thatcuts your documents into strips that are 1/4" (6mm) wide.
