Norfolk, VA—(January 17, 2007) – Terry Slattery, vice president and general manager of For Rent Media Solutions™, the leading apartment resource for searching apartment communities nationwide and a division of Dominion Enterprises, will serve as the 2007 chairman of the National Suppliers Council. Shortly after, he was promoted to an account manager in Tampa, FL. In 1996, he became a general sales manager in Orlando, FL. and after serving in this position, was promoted to national marketing director before becoming vice president of marketing in 1997. In this role, Slattery was responsible for the product development and marketing departments. That same year, he headed up a group to begin ForRent.com®, the online version of For Rent Magazine®, now one of the nations most successful multi-family housing internet listing services. His team is also credited with the invention and execution of LEADS™, the original tracking service in the multi-family housing industry, now considered the standard in the industry. In 2004, he was promoted to vice president of national sales and marketing. In July of 2006, Slattery was promoted once again to vice president and general manager of For Rent Media Solutions.
