We spend so much time trying to get the business up and running that we may end up becoming burned out and lose our motivation. There is so much to learn and
Let me tell you a short story..There was once a man who had an idea, he had a vision, he knew what he wanted and he was prepared to do what was necessary to get it. He was in his 60′s so was by no means a young man anymore, but that did not stop him. This man had thought carefully about his life and what he had, but when it came down to it, he only really had one thing, which was this chicken recipe that everyone loved. So one day he decided that he was going to sell it. The first thing he does is go into this restaurant and tells the manager how amazing his recipe is. He says, "I will give you this recipe, in return all I ask is a percentage of the profit made on each piece of chicken sold, he was quickly turned away. This man did eventually find someone to buy into his recipe, but only after being rejected 1009 times and 2 years of driving around the country to find this person. His name wascolonel Sanders, the founder of KFC, now one of the biggest take away chains in the world. Let me ask you something, how long would it have taken you before you gave up and just said, "it wasn't a good recipe anyway". The fact is that many people would have just given up on the idea that could well be THE idea that brings you global success. How did he keep going? How did colonel Sanders keep the fire burning inside of him that drove him to reach his goal? Let me tell you, it was being backed up into the proverbial corner. It was do or die for him, I mean, what opportunity was there for a retired colonel in those days. He did what he had to do to get his voice heard and subsequently become very successful. His name will go down in the history books noted for being one of the true entrepreneurs of the world.Yesterday I actually went to the Six Figure Mentors momentum day in London, England. This was a live event with over 100 of SFM's top affiliates and business people, all providing such an atmosphere it was unreal. Now there were a few reasons why I went to this event, but the main reason was to reignite my fire, my passion for creating a digital life. A life where your not tied down by any financial or work related time constraints. Being at an event with so many like minded individuals was so invigorating, it made a change from being around the same old, negative minded people. Sometimes this is what you have to do to serve that pattern interrupt in your life. The point that I am trying to make with all of this, is that you have the choice, the RESPONSE ability, to keep your inner fire burning. If you want something, grab your nuts and get it! Its not going to come to you, you need to do what you need to do to win! When it comes down to it, there are two driving factors that will keep your fire burning, one of which you need to decide on. You are either driven by a need to survive, IE getting out of a massive debt hole. Or you are driven by the promise of a better life, a vision of where you just have to be in the next year, 5 years or even 10 years, whatever it is, it needs to be strong enough to withstand every problem that arises in your life, every issue that threatens to throw you off course. So ask yourself now, what drives you? And is it strong enough to motivate you to take consistent action on a daily basis? Article Tags: Fire Burning
