We spend so much time trying to get the business up and running that we may end up becoming burned out and lose our motivation. There is so much to learn and
But what about when it is not? A life without love has long been thought of as a lonely life. If you have lost a loving relationship, then you know what this means. There is a definite correlation between love and loneliness, and many believe it is because people give so much of themselves when they are in a loving relationship with another person that when that relationship is removed - whether by death or choice - the person, who gave the love, never gets back a part of herself. The other component in the relationship leaves and takes it with him, essentially. When people are in love, they open up all the vulnerable places in their heart, and so it is not a surprise that feelings of great loss set in when the love is no longer there. Luckily, there are things that you can do, if you have lost a loving relationship, to put the bounce back in your step. 1. Don't live in the past. If you are the type of person that doesn't attach any emotional elements to pictures, then you may be just fine. But if the relationship ended, leaving you hurt and lost, you want to get away from the constant picture gazing as soon as you can. Living with the memory of the way things were instead of the way they are is a sure way to retard the healing process. Often times, the stronger the bond is between two loves, the deeper the loneliness is when that love is no longer around. It's okay to grieve, but don't allow it to interfere with your ongoing relationships, nor the possibility of future relationships. 2. Become more active. There is a reason a person's friends take them out for a night on the town after a bad breakup. They know that getting back out into the world and showing their friend that life does indeed go on is the only way to get them over the hump of loneliness caused by the loss of love. Most people can relate to a broken relationship, but it doesn't even have to be that. If you've lost a loved one, it is just as important to step back out into the world and do something that reminds you you are alive. 3. Overcome the guilt. Many people don't feel like they have permission to move on with their lives when they've lost a relationship or a loved one. They feel a sometimes inexplicable draw to the other person even when the bond is no longer there. This survivor's guilt can lead one to loneliness and should be confronted as soon as the healing process begins.
