Roxie, the lead character, is an aspiring star who instantly reminds us of a dozen different fame-crazy contestants on shows ranging from "American Idol" to "The Biggest Loser" who are willing to do almost anything, no matter how crazy or humiliating, to secure their 15 minutes of fame. After pushing her into an affair, Roxie kills the man who promises to make her famous.
