Firstly let me introduce myself, I am fromGlasgow, Scotland, UK and I have been an entrepreneur now for around 9years with great success. The reason why is because I have always gonethat extra mile both for myself and for the people I have worked withand prepared this article to explain how this has happened. When Ifirst started out in this business around 9 years ago now when I wasjust 18 years old I did not know there was such an industry as sales, network marketing, MLM or even internet marketing so as you can guessit was all brand new to me.It all happened by accident back thenas the very first MLM opportunity I got involved with was an offlineMLM Company what they did was a door to door sales operation. Thestructure was simple that when you became good at the sales you got apromotion to trainee manager which now meant that they would place newpeople under you and then you would train them in sales skills. Nextstep would be team manager that would be when you have 3 traineemanagers under you then the stage after that would be when you have 3team managers you would become an assistant manager and eventually theywould give you your own office where you would then take your team toyour new office. Now you're probably wondering how I went theextra mile. Well as you can imagine working in door to door sales onits own could be very demanding, challenging and very hard worktherefore I had to go the extra mile in many ways frequently. We wouldgo into the office at 10am for two hours to learn from each other. Thenhave our morning meeting, after which we would then go out to knock ondoors to make sales and we would do this until around 9pm.Sometimeswhen we were out on the field selling the day would fly past and a lotof sales would come our way and on these days it was very easy with noneed to go the extra mile. However on other days it could become verytough and sales where in very short supply and this was the time whenmore than anything else I really had to go that extra mile for myself.Theway in which I would go the extra mile for myself was very simple inwhich that if I was struggling and having a tough day I firstly wouldhave to take a step back and examine what has happened along with whyit has happened. If necessary ask another person more experienced fortheir outlook on my situation. I would then work harder along withsmarter, examine my targets and goals more closely and look forsolutions to help me achieve these rather than problems to stop me.OnceI had a team I was not only responsible for going the extra mile formyself but also my team and that meant that when they were having atough day I had to do everything for them that I would do for myself.Even if I was also having a tough day I had to do it all for me andthem however the feeling of success afterwards is often reward enoughand more.
