When starting a new work at home business it is very easy to become consumed by it. We spend so much time trying to get the business up and running that we may end up becoming burned out and lose our motivation. There is so much to learn and Normal 0 false false false MicrosoftInternetExplorer4 /* Style Definitions */ table.MsoNormalTable{mso-style-name:"Table Normal";mso-tstyle-rowband-size:0;mso-tstyle-colband-size:0;mso-style-noshow:yes;mso-style-parent:"";mso-padding-alt:0in
You probably already realize this, but since you were a kid you have been preprogrammed to follow a path that will give you a certain level of income. When you were in kindergarden through 12th grade you probably thought that if you stayed on track in school and finished college some day, you could be "successful" like they are and someday make $30,000 or so per year like they do. You might have figured they were successful because they have nice stable jobs working for the city as a school teacher. They followed the rules, finished their education and are now getting paid for it. But did you ever consider that there was even a brighter path than this? A path that may not be quite as long and at the same time be much more financially rewarding? There is a way to break out of this limited glass ceiling, but it will take a real mind shift to do it. And not just a shift in the way you think, but specialized action on your part.If you believe in the dream of controlling your own financial destiny like I do, I can tell you from experience its very possible. Right now I make about as much as a teacher but I'm no where near as "educated" as they are. Although I'm still pursuing college, not so much for the reason that I can get a better J.O.B. when I get out but because I guess I wanted to prove something to myself by finishing school and I consider it a back-up plan more than my main plan. Having a JOB is a bummer but it's much better than being completely broke or even homeless. But my goals, dreams and sights are set on making money with a variety of websites I currently own. And once I triple the income I have now, I can comfortably retire without having to worry too much about bills every month. So yes I'm finishing the traditional educational route but being an entrepreneur is where my heart is. Everywhere you go, every time you turn on the TV, when you read books or watch movies they all portray sublimimal messages regarding how much money you should be making. For example I was watching an issue of Forensic Files the other night where someone murdered was murdered for a $35,000 life insurance policy. Most of us by thinking about that much would think subconsciously like that's a lot of money. But in reality it's not much at all, yet someone was killed over it and it was broadcasted to all of us. What you need to do to create a change in your life is to reprogram your sub-conscious beliefs and expectations as to how much money is enough for yourself. We get so busy working to get by and pay bills that we don't take a few minutes to think about what it is we really want or expect out of life. I'm finishing college but my plans are only to work as long as it takes to invest some funds into my business until it takes off.I don't know exactly what it will take for my business to take off but I know it's somewhere in the range of 500-1000 articles. In the last few weeks I've written about 50 of them myself. Articles are $6.00 each and publishing them are $2.00 each. If I had extra funds I could just write a check for all this and be chilling out in Jamaica until the work was finished, then just watch the links build, the traffic increase and the money pour in. But being a realist I've determined that I may need to write most of these articles myself. I don't mind doing it because I know I'll only have to do it once. That in a nutshell is the mind of an Entrepreneur. My business model doesn't depend on the connections I make but on the traffic I bring to my website and the leads I can generate for other companies. However this mindset can be applied to any type of entrepreneurial business model. If your business is using another business model that depends on copying more successful people than yourself, then make it a point to go out and meet more successful people than you and find a mentor that's already where you want to be or beyond where you want to be. Learn everything you can from them and help them with their business. Successful people can use all the extra help they can get to spread their wings wider and this is your way in. I've been teaching this method for years and no one will turn down a free hand for help. This will give you a line of communication with them which will be the key to getting questions answered that their internet marketing courses, if they've published any, will fall short.
