When machines are operated they generate vibrations and these vibrations are either absorbed by the foundations on which they are held or are absorbed by machines only. The term cross talk also takes place in this process vibrations produced by one machine are absorbed by other machines and this also constitutes for the reliability problems. This problem mainly occurs in the places where there are plants of machines that are where a number of machines are installed in an industry like paper printing units, metal processing units etc.
