When starting a new work at home business it is very easy to become consumed by it. We spend so much time trying to get the business up and running that we may end up becoming burned out and lose our motivation. The answer to that question is definitely simpler than you think. Youcan immediately log on to the internet and search for numerous personaldevelopment sites out there that offer beneficial and comprehensiveinformation. Alternatively, if you prefer, you can check out your localbookstore or sign up for a seminar or course about personal development. But wait and just stop there for a moment. Before you go on looking forresources on personal development, take a moment of your time to readand ponder over what I have to say in the next few paragraphs. Many personal development sites or resources always focus on mainly thepositive side of personal development such as creative visualisation, goal setting, law of attraction and so on. However, what many of themfail to explain is how an individual should first clear his limitingbeliefs, negative or self-destructive thoughts first before she embarkson any personal development program.Let me use a simple analogy of a glass to illustrate my point. Let'ssay you have an empty glass that is shiny and bright on the outside andwhich you want to fill with water. However, the glass is filled withextreme dust and dirt in the inside which is rather out of view to aperson looking from the outside. So, what would you do first? Would youimmediately pour fresh, clean and clear water into the glass? Or wouldyou clean the glass and rid it of all the impurities found on theinside? The obvious answer would be to first clean the dirty glass thenfill it with clear water to prevent the water from getting contaminated. This analogy can be likened to that of a person embarking on personaldevelopment. The person may seem fine on the outside but if the personis filled with so much negative or destructive beliefs or thoughts suchas "I cannot do this" or "I'm not worthy of success" and so forth, simply teaching her the positive aspects of personal development willnot make her any better until she first clears the blocks, limits ornegativity inside. And this where the Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT) comes in - tofirst clear the negative aspect of yourself before you work on thepositive aspects. EFT is a method of dealing and treating mentaldistress by tapping on the energy meridians of the body. It is a verysimple process which can be carried out in as little as 30-60 seconds aday (or whenever you face a block) and most importantly, it's free, safe & very beneficial. Some of its benefits include providingrapid relief from physical or emotional issues such as trauma, phobias, grief, anger, guilt, addictions, fears and much more.If you are very interested in using EFT to clear your limiting anddestructive blocks or limits, do take a few minutes of your time tocheck out my resource box below. So the next time you are thinking of embarking on a new personaldevelopment program, tell yourself this, "I will clear my blocks andlimits first before embarking on this program" while performing EFT.There will be no doubt that you will achieve greater degrees of success.
