Do you feel that people are constantly criticizing you? Do you put yourself down at every opportunity?Or you've finally met someone who is right for you, but somehow you tend to make it go wrong. Your bank account is fattened temporarily. But then you go and spend it or make an investment that is unwise, and the money seems to disappear back to the old level again. Deep down inside, you do not really believe that you are deserving of this amount of money. You would like to have what you want, but it seems like you are not able to control your self sabotaging behavior. It is unconscious, ingrained in your habit and action cycle. So much so that you tend to become comfortable with not succeeding, even though the desire to succeed has been there from the beginning.Self sabotage behavior can also be related to childhood experiences, like molestation as a child. Tell yourself that you deserve success. You were born into this world to make a difference. For yourself, your loved ones and for the world. For the better.Dream. Dig deep into yourself and think of where the negative self scripts came from. You may have been shaped by your previous experiences, but you can change the way you think now. How does it feel like? Tell yourself that you deserve this. You are NOT undeserving of it. Think YES. Think big.Think Abundance. Think and KNOW that you are deserving.Believe that success is for you. Here are two tiny action steps that if acted upon can begin to make a huge difference in your life. It can start you on your way to integrating your self scripts with action so that you can overcome self sabotage in both personal and professional, financial and relationships.1. Set achievable Goals. Reduce your goals into simple, manage chunks that you can achieve effortlessly. Beware of over-intending, or setting impossible goals. Then determine to achieve it. When you accomplish a goal that you have set, subconsciously and consciously you are telling yourself that you can do it. When actions match intentions, success occurs. Every time an action is accomplished, success happens. Physically, endorphins are released when this happens. This gives you a little "high". It is nature's way of rewarding an effort that is well done. When multiple success occur, you will have not physical but also psychological self confidence. You would have achieved a general state of self confidence and belief.2. Face Challenges. Another way to develop confidence is to give yourself the opportunity to do things that you didn't know you could achieve. Each time you turn away from weakness and accomplish something relatively difficult you are building up both the power of your will and developing confidence in the ability to do things that you previously had not dared. You are able to take up challenges that you were not initially sure you could achieve . You are re-writing self scripts that challenges are to be avoided. When you have overcome a few times, you will have told yourself that it is not as bad after all. Future challenges will be a breeze. The confidence that you can achieve will be developed and self sabotaging behaviors will naturally diminish with time. Overcome self sabotage. Free yourself to be the person you were meant to be.
