When starting a new work at home business it is very easy to become consumed by it. We spend so much time trying to get the business up and running that we may end up becoming burned out and lose our motivation. During inconvenient circumstances you should just let go. At least temporarily until life gets back on track. Of course, do not start letting go over the silliest or smallest situations. For example I feel tire today so I am not going to work because Kenias advice was to practice letting go.You may be asking: So, when exactly should I practice letting go? Before I confuse you let me give you an example from my personal life; I am currently taking college classes and days before my final paper my two daughters got sick with the stomach flu. For those that are not familiar with the stomach flu it means that they spent a little over 24 hours vomiting and with diarrhea. What did I do? Being the goal getter that I am; I still found my self trying to write the paper in order to turn it in on time. I managed to write a little bit but not much. Every time I use to write a line or two they would interrupt me crying, vomiting etc. This situation was driving me crazy. In one hand I had a final paper of the class that I have been working so hard on for a full semester and on the other hand my two little girls were sick. Both situations were extremely important to me. But, like most mothers when I had to let go off one of the activities I chose to take care of my kids. I ended up turning up my assignment a day late. Even though; I felt I could have done a better job I still managed to get a satisfactory grade. But, even if I would have failed the class I would have jus repeated it on the next semester. What happened was that once I understood that this situation was beyond my control I let it go. My girls did not plan to get sick on that specific date and I was not expecting it either. Neither my daughters nor I deserved the stress of me trying to manage my final and their sickness at once. By devoting my complete time to them I was able to reduce my stress level and be there for them when they needed it the most. Some circumstances will require that you let go for more than one day, for months or even longer. But, they should not be the reason for letting your dreams go completely. So, when you find yourself in difficult situations ask yourself if it is possible to maintain your sanity when performing so many tasks or is it simply time to let go?Do not loose your mind,Kenia Morales
