|| Intention and Behavior ||By Nilesh Gore : [email protected] every walk of life we meet different persons and we face their behavior including other elements of personality. Some of all thinks why he/she behaved so ? We directly point out the behavior but we misleads / neglect the intention because behavior is direct & explicit and intention is implicit. Now what we have to choose first in between intention and behavior so that we can interact effectively. So lets first think on Intention and the BehaviorIntention >> Determined and planed aim for action in mind.Behavior >> Every activity draws out in response to outer or inner stimuli emphasis on reaction.-Basic thing for keeping interpersonal relations bright is to understandings intentions of others.-In human nature : intentions are always responsible for pleasant / unpleasant behavior.-Behavior is external & visible unless properly expressed.-Behavior may be spontaneous & impulsive reactions.- Intentions are basic and for long durations.-Though all of us are not master / Expert behaviorist many of us do not know how to behave effectively in some situations.Lets take example of coconut : why we should bother about the hard, rough outer surface of coconut instead we must look for the internal sweetness and softness. So when we interact with people we must understand intentions of them to understand their behavior. And express our intentions more effectively.Eg. Child cries for food. (intention)- wants food because of hunger. And for getting that food he cries i.e. behavior.Nilesh Gore.
